Saturday 31 October · 5.30pm · Haywards Heath
The Rave Run was one of the highlights of Sussex RunFest this summer. So we’re bringing it back, this time in the dark, in costume, to classic Halloween anthems.

Pace
About 7:00/km. We regroup often.
A social run of about 5k in Haywards Heath, with Halloween anthems and classics playing as we go. We run together at about 7:00/km, dance along the way, and finish together.
Everyone! We start together, regroup at several spots along the route, and finish together. Under-16s are welcome with a paying adult.
Whatever you like! Costumes are encouraged. Bring lights, please. Fairy lights, running lights, LEDs: the brighter the better (it’ll be dark, so lights aren’t only for fun, they help keep everyone seen). Please just be sure to pick something you can run in.
There’s even a prize for the best costume: two tickets to our next Rave Run!
Saturday 31 October. Meet from 5pm in Haywards Heath town centre (venue announced soon). We set off at 5.30pm and finish by 6.30pm, and stick around afterwards for a drink.
How fast is it? We run at about 7:00/km (roughly a 35-minute 5k) and regroup at several points along the way.
What if it rains? We still run. If the weather is genuinely unsafe, we’ll email you on the day.
Can I bring my dog? Music, a crowd, and darkness don’t mix well with paws, so we think it’s best dogs skip this one.
Is there a bag drop and toilets? Yes. Details to be announced.

Just £6 until the clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, then £7. Under-16s just £4 with a paying adult.
Your ticket helps cover the sound system, insurance, and the running of the event. RunFest is volunteer-run.
